Building on the success of last years event, Million Beats is back, bigger and better! Did you know 1 out of 2 men and 1 out of 3 women suffer from heart disease? Chances are you know someone living with this disease or know someone who is at risk. Please join us in the fight to decrease those numbers and raise awareness for early detection and encourage healthier living! What do I need to do? Get involved by participating in the Million Beats Challenge donating 1 cent every time your heart beats during your favourite activities. The Million Beats Challenge starts on the 27th of April and runs for 22 days, concluding on the 18th of May 2014. Complete it on your own or build a team to reach 1 Million Beats and get fit whilst supporting our special cause! How the App Works 1. After you download the app ask friends and sponsors to sign up to donate and support you via Email, Facebook and Twitter. 2. Get active and remember to record your activities, intensity and duration. This is done in the Add New Activity Section. 3. The app will automatically calculate your heartbeats and add it to your tally.
